Adventures of a Capitalist on Bay Street

This thread is a place for me to share the great stories of my adventures on Bay Street. You will have the chance to learn about characters such as:

The Hunter
The Cyclist
The Cowboy
The Aussie
The Banker

And a cast of thousands.

As Bay Street awakens from a bear market many strong players are well prepared to take advantage of the next market upswing. However many wounds are open and scars fresh this will be a long wall of worry to climb.

Your questions and comments are welcome. Don't get too carried away with anything here, accuracy will be sacrificed for the sake of entertainment. Enjoy.

The Banker

It all started a few months ago. We were at one of those places that threatens to serve steak but everyone is there to drink. The banter started off in a very juvenile fashion, induced by the plunging necklines of the young ladies fetching libations. I settled in believing that this was just going to be another standard night of building rapport.

Then without warning topics shifted. My interest and energy level greatly increased. He was laying out the investing criteria of numerous institutional investors he was working with. Then the punchline: He was having trouble finding a home for all of the capital. Right then I knew the tide had changed. Now was the time to start working all my issuer contacts, deals are going to get done.
