Zodiac, this journal was written to share my thoughts and trades with new traders because I empathize for the learning process that new traders have to undergo. This journal is not open to everyone. However, I will make an exception in your case contingent upon the following condition. You will always conduct yourself in a professional manner. Thank you, thank you. Today i have the gas company out to do a repair, on my main shut off. we will be in and out of my house. not a lot of trading. earlier i did a few trades on ES and posted them on the ES journal.
But i wanted to ask you about the 30mn chart, I've noticed that the bars showing mixed closes on the CL, with heavier volume to support. from a day trader perspective, i would be suspicious about being short at that area until we drop firmly below the 200ma and close weak. Just my 2 cents worth. I have to step away now.

CL @ 71.36. S/L lowered to 71.84 on this trade and the other trade as well. Let's see if the Baker Hughes Oil Rig Count shows that the number of active oil-drilling rigs rose for a seventh straight week or not.

Stopped out @ 71.89. Loss = $50 per contract on my short @ 71.84. Loss = $30 per contract on my short @ 71.86. The Venezuelan election today is behind the big move.
Short HG @ 3.0865. S/L @ 3.0965.
