I mentioned it in a previous thread, but Price Action Trading by Bill Eykyn is a very helpful book for getting started and developing a structured approach to trading, with a focus on price action and support/resistance (as indicated by the title lol).
It's somewhat pricey, so see if you can dig it up in the library. In any case, it has a good solid method/appraoch that covers all the bases, so even if you do pay for it, it's money well spent IMHO.
Check out that interlibrary loan thing though, always good to save a few bucks.
