The author of this article must be a retard who is incapable of looking out the window, or of calling the many ski resorts spread across Europe, North America, and Asia about the huge amount of natural snow on their runs this year.

Every single weather event at any time and location contribute to the climate trend for a given region, and eventually overall...even those that are left out of modeling for convenience (or other reasons).

The fact that snowpack and snow cover extent is decreasing and temps have been increasing around the world for half a century now is irrelevant. What matters is since there is snow on the ground right now in NYC it is ironclad PROOF that this GW stuff is bunk and there is plenty of snow. I mean how stupid can this guy be? Plus everyone knows greenhouse gasses cool so all we have to do is put more CO2 into the air to cool the earth.

There is no science proving CO2 causes warming, just like there is no science proving that evolution is true or that cigarette smoking is unhealthy.

I remember hearing some years ago when the hype of AGW began, how there would be no more snow and winters would continue to be warmer. I don't remember being told there would be winters with 65% of the US with snow on the ground and as cold as winters 30 years ago, and 100 years ago (before CO2 was really cranking up), and many in between (until they unexpectedly started happening). FC is more than welcome to show otherwise in written scientific papers.

That said, there is a school of thought regarding thermohaline decline and the gulf stream. That, however, would not result in the scenario we are having in the US if it were actually occurring. That would be a case where global warming (man made or not) could result in brutally cold winters for Europe. Our scenario is a large ridge in western Canada and Alaska, a result of warm water off the coast of Alaska, which occurs every couple of decades.

Incidentally, there has been and always will be "climate change". O man is correct. That debate is not only settled, but was never up for debate. Nice play on words, though.

I agree. Anyone who thinks that there will no snow in ten years is insane. Good thing that he doesn't think that. Because if he did he would just as idiotic as someone who thinks a local cold snap and some snow cover over the nation has any relevance at all to decades-long climate change or somehow disproves GW even in the slightest. But hardly anyone is so moronic as to suggest such a thing. Well, maybe a few Fox News anchors.
