Either phone, iPad or laptop.
I use GoToMyPC.

Desktop to prepare and enter the trade, mobile to follow up, desktop again to exit.

I always enter orders via Desktop/laptop, but partially because everything comes from Excel and everything works better on bigger screens than on a phone.

I have IB in Read-Only mode on the phone and ipad so that I can see what's happening when away from my desk.

Why not RDP over your VPN. Guess GoToMyPC would work too. Should offer a full desktop experience, albeit a single screen on the road, with ability to do pretty much anything you do at office

Technically it’s not a vpn as I don’t have a static IP so I do it through GoToMyPC.

I prefer mobile front ends that are functionally-identical (or as close as possible) to the desktop front end. TT and TastyTrade come to mind. TDA really misses the mark. The iOS app is nearly unusable. You cannot form "groups" on the mobile app as you can on the desktop monitor page.
