The humane thing to do would be to quit encouraging them to come here, facilitating the trip, and then intentionally creating a legal log jam, all to have something to campaign on election cycle after cycle.
Your comment references future people coming here, but ignroes the fact that the people already there are in really shitty conditions. Your answer to them is just leave. Uh...they are being detained in a prison or did you forget that? But even prisoners have toilets and space and children are not grouped in rooms so full no one can lay down to sleep.
I am surprised you can hear reports of the conditions and just tell them, tough shit nuggets. That is lack of humanity. To just say stop coming does not solve the current issue. Like 4 women are raped at a bar in the past week and you get up and tell women "Stop going to that bar!" and ignore the woman getting raped at the moment because she just could have not gone inside.
Your analogy doesn't work. People can walk into a bar and expect to be safe, free from assault. On the other hand if you knowingly enter a country illegally you can expect to be locked up, and the conditions are whatever they are. As to the current problem I have already offered my solution. Deport every single one of them, immediately close down every detention facility, and then play the catch me if you can game. They get caught, they get immediately deported. They avoid that capture, then they're in until authorities catch them down the road, upon which is immediate deportation.
In addition I'll add that every single employer hiring illegals should be arrested and charged with the appropriate crimes. All social help and benefits to illegals should be cut off. Anyone caught assisting in any way the illegal entry, this includes lawyers, financers, do gooders, whomever, all get arrested. Chances of this happening are zero. Why? because neither party is interested in solving the problem. Just don't expect me to play along like these worthless cocksuckers in government are actually upset about the "human suffering". They're not!!!!

I never hear any of you fuckers complain that the guy who home invaded a house and killed a wife and 2 kids is sitting in a cell with their own bathroom, access to showers, 3 meals a day, play time and other benefits because he is a citizen while undocumented people who crossed illegally get to be shit on before they are deported.

Speaking of soapboxes you can climb down from yours any time now. Let me be clear. I don't give a fuck what the conditions are in those detention centers. I don't care how many suffer. You know why? Because I personally did not have a fucking thing to do with their current circumstances, and you or anyone else isn't going to guilt trip me into it.
You and every other fuck who are encouraging these people to come here are to blame along with the adults themselves. Those adults, those parents, they are responsible for whatever happens to the children. Them, and every other person who assists them to come here, be it with words of encouragement, financially, with legal advice, politically, media coverage, anything. Every bit of this is on them.
