Academics nationwide #ShutDownSTEM because science is 'weaponized against black people'

Folks may laugh at this #ShutDownSTEM effort but it is one of the demands being pushed by students protesting at UNC Chapel Hill
I reserve the right to change my mind after I finish my first cup of coffee here, but I began reading that link in Banjo's post and started thinking that if the Brits decide to not take the 3 million refugee/immigrants from Hong Kong, then maybe they could come here.
This country is getting to be a bit heavy on the ebonics experience with no change in sight.
That would be a great addition to this country. People with very high moral and work ethical standards.
Public school education is racist as are all post secondary schools? The entire curriculum is oppressive and discriminatory?
Okay kids, who writes the curriculum? Who runs the schools? Are your teachers and professors predominantly left leaning or not? Has academia not been run by leftists for the past several decades? Have tests and standards not been lowered to such a point where a college degree can be obtained by simply showing up?
