Absolutely Sickening Part of Bailout

Here are the ‘no’ voters. God bless em' all, even though some (like Vermont socialist Saunders) opposed the bill for totally different reasons than I did. At least he voted his conscience and didn't cave in to the pressure.

Sens. Wayne Allard (R-Colo.), John Barrasso (R-Wyo.), Sam Brownback (R-Kan.), Jim Bunning (R-Ky.), Maria Cantwell (D-Wash.), Thad Cochran (R-Miss.), Mike Crapo (R-Idaho), Jim DeMint (R-S.C.), Elizabeth Dole (R-N.C.), Byron Dorgan (D-N.D.), Mike Enzi (R-Wyo.), Russ Feingold (D-Wis.), James Inhofe (R-Okla.), Tim Johnson (D-S.D.), Mary Landrieu (D-La.), Bill Nelson (D-Fla.), Pat Roberts (R-Kan.), Bernard Sanders (I-Vt.), Jeff Sessions (R-Ala.), Richard Shelby (R-Ala.), Debbie Stabenow (D-Mich.), Jon Tester (D-Mont.), David Vitter (R-La.), Roger Wicker (R-Miss.) and Ron Wyden (D-Ore.).

Yeah, the ones that voted no are the ones that are up for re-election this year...

I know it is somewhat futile, but show your feelings by voting constitution party or whatever best matches your beliefs. I'm sick of the Rep/Dem BS.

Jim Bunning (R-Ky.)
Now that is a man of principle. And he's my Senator.

My other senator, Mitch McConnell, co-sponsored this piece of shit. I'm not voting for him when it comes time for reelection.

Right. Trust the people who waste money to conserve it. WHat naive pill did you take this morning?

Naive are those that blindly trust their leader (s). Question authority.

wait til the other shoe drops

6 weeks from now they will come out and say 'we miscalculated.$700B is not enough. We need another $700B- $1Trillion or this country faces immediate collapse'.

and guess what?people will vote for it again.wait and see......

Quote from MKTrader:

OK, let's put partisan politics aside for a moment. Let's also put aside the very important question of whether the bailout is necessary or the right response.

If we had to do this, the Republicrats and Demo-cons should've agreed to 0% pork. No energy, education, military or other unrelated spending. This whole thing should ONLY be about financial system issues.

Instead we got (among other things):

$223M for Alaskan fisherman
$192M for rum producers in Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands
$128M for auto racing
$33M for companies operating in American Samoa
$10M for film & TV production
$6M for producers of wooden arrows

Simply an outrage. We're in midst of this crisis, have huge unfunded liabilities for baby boomers on the horizon, yet we're going to spend all this extra money?

Throw all those bums out....or have another tea party.

That's the problem with a Federal System, by nature it incentivizes pork.

Don't hate the player hate the game.

I blame Alexander Hamilton. The founding father of Governmental financial scams. Kicked off the new nation with a Legislative thievery in continental congress war bonds. I don't things are terribly different now.
