About Ignore

So what do you do about somebody who apparently keeps asking questions of you but doesn't get a response because you've got him/her on Ignore? You keep telling us that all we have to do is "ignore" people, but apparently there are quite a few people too dumb to know they're being ignored. Do we take them off Ignore long enough to tell them they're being ignored, then put them back on Ignore? Isn't this breaching the sanctity of Ignore, which has been classed as a no-no?

Who's too stupid to know they're on ignore? Oh please, let's not destroy the sanctity of the "ignore" feature. Oh please no.
