Abolishing the Like feature

ET post quality has fallen drastically since the implementation of 'Likes'. Lots of replies try to degrade the Original poster just to sound smart and fish for 'Likes'.

ET should remove this ego trophy and also consider having more moderators.

The like feature has been around for years. You've been around since October or you're the latest incarnation of volpunter et al. Either way, you're in no position to offer a relevant opinion on the matter.

Anyone who gives a crap about how many "likes" they have on their anonymous nickname on a discussion board has some issues; not sure anyone gives it any thought at all besides you?

Literally no one here is worried about ego trophies or "likes"..... except you. And you seem obsessed by it. You might want to look up the concept of projection, you're a case study of it.
