ABC Makes "Epic Mistake", Retracts Bombshell Flynn Story

Well lawfully he was the president elect, does that mean the acting President's actions get to be undermined?

The game now will be to state over and over that the Logan act was not violated, and over and over until the gas-lighted public fold again.

Howz that case law for the Logan Act lookin in case we want to look at how it has been applied in the past?

Nevermind. If Mueller starts talking about the logan act he might as well get ready to lose another big case, and believe me, he has lost some big ones fairly frequently. He was botched some real cockers. All the heavy duty drama is fine and dandy when he is just running around town swinging his dick and the bootlickers here are showing what they think are scary pictures of him as a young Marine. Once he cases get into court though he struggles very hard and ends out watching people skate. Both Mueller and Comey are low intellect, mediocre prosecutors with very spotty track records. Mueller always has this ball busting investigator who likes to have working with him who likes all the dramatic scary shit. Busting down doors, locking their wives, you know as they did with Mannafort. He did all that locking people and their wives up with the Hells Angel Case, with Enron Case, and with Andserson Little. Really humiliated them and go tough. Later on all the Hells Angels guys were acquitted and in the Enron case he got a couple of the big wigs but all the many, many underlings that were convicted were all acquitted on appeal within a couple years.

Oh, and let's not forget Mr. Scary Mueller's little trip over to a closed session with Congress to assure them that the FBI had their man in the anthrax case. Mueller outlined in detail how the bloodhounds had tracked the anthrax right over to the accused scientist's lab. Check back a couple years later, the guy was acquitted or released and the government paid out five million to him in damages and the guy who really did it committed suicide. Yeh fine, swing your dick around town now Mueller but you know how it can go when you actually get in court.

Both he and Comey are mediocre at best. Most likely Trump can afford to put on a fairly decent defense. I will say again: Bring it on Arsewipe.

REPORTER: "This building [the Obama State Department] doesn't see anything necessarily inapprorpiate in contact between members of the incoming [Trump] administration and foreign officials, no matter what country they're from?"

OBAMA STATE DEPT: "No, no...and again this has been ongoing. We have no problem with them doing such on their own."

I post this for info. I doubt Mueller's case is this weak... but... I was wondering why everyone was acting like this was a big day.

It could have been a big day... it could have been a bad day for Mueller. His witness is now an admitted liar protecting his son.

Dershowitz: Flynn Plea Is ‘A Show of Weakness’ for Mueller

by IAN HANCHETT2 Dec 20172,757

On Saturday’s broadcast of the Fox News Channel’s “Fox & Friends,” Harvard Law Professor Alan Dershowitz argued that former Trump National Security Adviser Michael Flynn’s guilty plea is a “show of weakness” for Special Counsel Robert Mueller.

Dershowitz said, “Well, the last thing any prosecutor wants to do is to have to indict his primary witness for lying. Because if you indict your witness for lying, it really means he’s not useful as a witness, he has no credibility. I’m sure the prosecutor was trying to indict him for some scheme or conspiracy that involved other people in the White House, but there is nothing there, and he had to, finally come down and indict him for lying, which makes him a useless witness. So, this is not a show of strength by the prosecutor. It’s a show of weakness. It’s a show that they really have nothing on anybody above of Flynn and that Flynn made the terrible mistake about lying about something he could have told truth about. Because the two things he lied about were perfectly lawful and perfectly proper for somebody to do during the transition. And so, I think it really reflects a weakness, not a strength in Mueller’s prosecution.”

He added, “Now, they still may be able to use him to lead to other witnesses or to get documentary evidence or to give them leads, but he’s no good as witness. Because he’s obviously sold himself to protect his own son, and he’s prepared not only to sing, but perhaps even to compose and [unintelligible] to exaggerate if he thinks that will get him a better deal from the prosecutor. So, if I’m a defense lawyer, I have no trouble destroying his credibility on the witness stand.”

Dershowitz concluded Mueller is “going on the domino theory, one domino at the time. You go for the lowest-hanging fruit. You indict people for lying to the FBI, failing to fill out the proper forms. These are forms of essentially political jaywalking, then you squeeze them and you hope that maybe they’ll give you information that would lead to somebody higher up. But in the end, it’s hope over reality. So, I would not say this is a day for celebrating for the prosecution in the Mueller office.”

Exactly correct.

Good luck trying to make a case that a President-Elect and his team don't have proper authority to begin speaking with foreign governments. As usual, you're all wet. Noone has ever been prosecuted under the Logan Act and it's been around for 218 years.
