Abbott for the win - Bringing death and misery to Texas

Do you have a link about that Governor Abbott has been fully vaccinated ?

I do know he recently tested positive to Covid (most likely the Delta Variant).

If Governor Abbott was fully vaccinated...that would then imply he has had a "breakthrough infection". That alone would be news that he would use to criticize the efficacy of vaccines when he in fact should be looking at the effectiveness of vaccines to prevent him from going to the Hospital, ICU admission, or Death.

Personally, someone testing positive for Covid is not a big deal. The issue is were they able to avoid hospitalization or worst.

In Texas...

Almost 45% of Texas’ 6,959 reported intensive care beds are currently occupied by coronavirus patients, compared with 26% nationwide. Most of these COVID patients are not vaccinated.

The panic will really kick in when they reach 70% hospital capacity. That's when they start building those outdoor hospitals in very large military like tents. Guess what...schools about to open soon after he has banned those face mask wear mandates.

Looks like he's so scared...he's going to get the Covid medical therapeutics for the worst case scenario...anything to avoid an embarrassing hospitalization that would require an overnight stay or longer.

Hopefully he doesn't have an underlying medical condition that he didn't know he had and hopefully he didn't infect someone that has an underlying medical condition that results in Hospitalization or worst.

This can quickly develop into a story like Covid Trump whom 10 months later would require face mask wear at his Hotels.

I would bet some good doughnuts that this (asymptomatic) "breakthrough" is innoculum related and that Abbot was exposed to a abnormally large viral load through his fundraising off all this.

Makes me wonder if the Taliban won't come back a little softer than before on the basis that even they don't want to come across this depraved & ignorant.

He was vaccinated in December 2020 and that would imply his recent breakthrough infection must have been via the Delta Variant.

Knowing that he's fully vaccinated...statistically on his side that he will not need hospitalization. Thus, he's panicking if he is going to need Covid therapeutics unless he has a serious underlying medical condition.

By the way, I didn't know he was in a wheelchair as shown in the above video. Maybe he has some additional risk factors because he's paralyzed from the waist down.

Texas values might not be up for grabs in 2022 but maybe getting more intelligent GOP leaders in the state would set a better example than Abbot and Cruz

I have to wonder how many rubes vote for him thinking he is war wounded like what happened with that kid with the girly name (Madison?) who crashed coming home from spring break.

I imagine God tried to kill Abbott with a falling tree as he was running away from something in 1984 (jogging they say) and he has been seeking revenge since.

Now that he has tested positive for Covid...he's lucky to be fully vaccinated in comparison to being not vaccinated. He gets to have a personal experience with the "effectiveness of the vaccine" to prevent a severe Covid illness.
