Abbott reportedly has already had a booster and still tested positive while asymptotic. And is on a monoclonal antibody regime. A couple of things to unpack with Abbott here.
I think there is a question here of are positive tests of asymptotic vaccinated persons actually an infection?
Abbot is triple vaccinated, asymptotic and taking a monoclonal regime while blocking simple preventive measure for people who don’t have access to a booster and many won’t have monoclonal antibodies when asymptotic.

Clever. We'll see how it plays out.
The Texas Court could find this as pretext. Still worth a shot.
Given his situation I am sure his COVID will be harmless unless there is some underlying condition. However if he was carrying it the night before he was hugging up all on people without masks and probably only half the crowd was vaccinated so he might have caused his only little spreader event or in reverse caught it there from someone else causing their own little spreader event.
But to get all the treatment and care he is while acting like his people shoudl ignore this and continue on as though nothing is happening is kind of Cruz-like. Maybe it is a Texas thing because despute the criticism to DeSantis he is there working and speaking daily and taking actions being over turned by courts but he is at least putting his money where is messed up mouth is. Abbot is more like Nero watching Rome burn..
