They've peaked until 5G becomes ubiquitous in the States. Not much more you can add to their phones... maybe cosmetic stuff I guess; but once 5G proliferates, the cycle should start again as everyone will need a new phone. Until then... the Street will be looking for strong growth in their subscription model. Dead money now imo. Better stocks out there to play.

Chinese retailers are slapping hefty discounts on iPhones because Apple's products are too expensive and not as innovative as those from local players such as Huawei. There seems to be a lot of negative sentiment on AAPL. I think AAPL is going to beat estimates like they have every quarter this year. It seems to be true that people are keeping their iphones longer and not buying new ones, but people are still buying apps, using apple pay, buying easily lost airpods for $160 a pop. I think we might see a nice bump after earnings.

Judge limits damages Qualcomm can seek from Apple
A judge has granted Apple's request to limit potential damages in a Qualcomm patent lawsuit to the period after the suit was filed in 2017. The chip maker can't demand cash for years upon years of infringements if the case is successful. The judge further also determined that Apple wasn't infringing on one of the patents. (Engadget)

Angela Ahrendts is leaving Apple after five years as retail chief, and will be replaced by HR head Dieirdre O'Brien, who will now be in charge of "retail and people." Ahrendts, who was Burberry's CEO for a dozen years, is leaving in April "for new personal and professional pursuits." A recent interview suggested she misses the fashion industry. Fortune
