AAPL - Tim Cook - Not very innovative

My phone cost 47 dollars.

My phone costs $15 -- i just have an emergency pre-paid phone.

I kind of hate tinkering with smart phones. and not to mention their long term contracts. and phone prices. and annoying apps, and etc misc :confused::fistbump:
I do everything on my Windows PC laptop only.

Smart phones... stupid people.

Mr. Cook hasn't really cooked up anything new and interesting at Apple. He's basically still riding on Jobs' initiatives. What has he done?

1. Retina screen. Nice, but not terribly innovative.
2. iPad Mini, iPad Pro, iPhone 6/6s... really all just another play on screen sizes. Incidentally, the iPad mini was something that Jobs abhorred. He probably rolled over in his grave when it was introduced
3. Apple Watch. Meh.
4. Swift (programming language) for iOS? Like a JavaScript mutation of some kind.

Can anyone think of anything else? I sorta see the company stagnating a bit.

Perhaps Apple Glasses will give them a pop, but they're talking 2018 now...
I was thinking the same thing about Apple in general, not Cook.

The question is: what consumer electronic product can Apple come out with that many people need or want? What idea can Apple develop and sell? Most people already have what they need. Consumers already have music players, iPod, smart phones, iPhone, tablets, iPad, available to them. What other product do consumers need?

I agree Mr. Cook is a businessman, an executive, first before innovator the way Mr. Jobs was. However, even Mr. Jobs would be hard pressed to find another breakthrough product. What's more, Apple is facing competition in every product category. There are many iPod, iPhone and iPad alternatives. Most businessmen tend to be cautious. That's how they made it to the top. Most businessmen don't take huge risks the way the original business founder did.

BTW, I only need a prepaid flip-phone. I like the size and carry it in a small leather clip-on case. I use my main desktop for most communications. Here is my desktop (see the first and last minute). On the road I use a 15.6" laptop in a backpack.

I cannot think of any new product lots of people would need or want. Can anyone here come up with a new idea? Who here has that million dollar idea?

IMHO, AAPL's Friday move is part of the larger market. IMHO, seasonality-wise, the market's moving down until the end of September/beginning October. IMHO, overnight moves are usually volatile. Right now AAPL is $104.78.

IMHO=In My Humble Opinion
