AAPL: Buying the Dips!

Since my iTunes and music is on a Windows 7 machine, could Microsoft have an edge with their new tablet over Android? I would think/hope the iTunes application would work within the new W8 operating system. (Possible also the new W8 phone?)
I haven't used an iPod, don't plan to ever buy one. But the MS tablet(s) is something I might be interested in...(Also sold by Dell, HP, Asus etc.).
This could give Apple some headaches going forward (2013 onward), though not for the discussion of this thread, short term AAPL trading. Biggest headaches goes to Google, though, and the Android operating system.

The market has become completely saturated, They all do exactly the same thing, I would say the number one thing people want to do on a tablet is search on the internet and check some email. Every other week there is a new tablet thats faster and thinner than the next, its getting very tiring to hear the same repetitive nonsense. The mania should start to slow soon, next week google is announcing more tablets to the market and microsoft has their surface tablet coming to market as well, I say who cares. There is nothing different about anything coming to the market, so what if its .03 seconds faster and has an extra megapixel or 2.

Yea it the pricing points are getting completely out of sync. I think for an extra $70 bucks people would rather have the Ipad 2 than a mini. They should have priced the mini at $199 to get the ball rolling with amazon and google. I dont any tablet but if I had to buy one it would be the Nexus 7 at $199.
Apple breaking down off its highs, look out for the last Fridays low at $609.62, if that is taken out I think $600 or less can come very quick. Tomorrow they announce earnings and this is a stock I would not want to be in ahead of those numbers, yes they do very well every earnings season breaking revenue records and adding to their cash pile of over $100 billion, but with the movement this stock will have tomorrow night its just not worth the risk. I think there is at least a $40-$60 move coming in either direction!
My wife has an ipad. I do like it but it is too big for my taste. I had been considering the Nexus but decided to wait to see where the ipad mini would be priced. Now that the pricing has been announced, the mini is out for me. I am now waiting until next week to see what happens to the Google line of tablets.
Yea next week I think google is announcing a nexus 10, Im also reading that there might be price drop on the nexus 7 to $99, that being the 8GB, but I highly doubt that. $329 is way of of the price range for something that size. I think pricing it at $250 would have been a good idea. And who wants to buy the first model anyway, they already changed the ipad 3 and its only been out now for about 4 months.
