this time it's the same as usual. hi p/e stock makes highs, bears creep out of cave. will short squeeze them about 4 or 5 times. they give up saying never will touch this stock again or that it's bs. climax run to all time highs. then stock sells off, finds support, consolidates, rallies a bit (the same bears who got squeezed will turn bullish here), then turns down goes to 52 week low.

Exactly. Watch the short-interest or days-to-cover statistic....that is telling. Apple Corp. has been just on a tear from a PR standpoint with a constant and steady barrage of "news" that makes it a horrible short right now....exactly what they want !
However, Hi PE stocks are in for a big swoon as the USA continues to struggle economically. Remember the commercial "Where's the Beef ?". Someone should make one with: "Where's the growth ?".

yahoo has a similar service like itunes that sells for $5/mo for unlimited songs...... i think it uses windows drm...

i think the problem is that apple is putting all its resources into milking out the last cents out of this trend in online music, and it will hurt them when it fans out.
