AAL, DAL, UAL, BA, JETS - Plunge Monday?

Jim, are you going to do any predictions for Q2 on your show?
Jim's his Uncle.
Jim just bought new crib with Bitcoin, right before the correction.
Ovenight doesn't like to trade on the name, but the yearly bottle of Spirits at Thanksgiving and Big Jim's holiday shindigs gotta be good fun.
Hope Ovenite vites me to the one this year.

I can't find a definitive story; I was hoping something would surface by now. I could understand if it were just one airline... but the whole industry? I thought that the airlines were coming back?

The same reason the whole $DJT is down going into Q2.

Just because you don't here boo about it, that doesn't mean that the folks that are managing billions and billions of dollars don't see and know what they are sure to hear in this Q's upcoming conference calls.

Aside from labor, what's the #1 operating cost of an airline?
Hmmmmmm... (?)

Of course they're dumping the airlines.

155% increase.
Looking back or looking forward... all the fuel hedging in the world won't fix that.
Fuel costs are killing them.

There's your answer.

"But they didn't tell us that on CNBC"!
...ET

Thank you

Anyone know the cause of the plunge in the airline industry this past Monday? And what's with all the volume? It's very choppy. AAL below as a representative example, but this is the the tape for all of 'em.

I can't find a definitive story; I was hoping something would surface by now. There's this UAL story about how they're ordering more planes, about how airlines are hiring for summer travel... but nothing that would explain the nasty industry-wide plunge. I could understand if it were just one airline... but the whole industry? I thought that the airlines were coming back? It's eerily quiet... a little sus.

I'm starting to see a dead cat bounce form today (Wednesday) but it looks like it's got more to run... it raises an eyebrow.

One about to go belly-up? B*******y? Grant funding about to be removed? Plane crash? What gives?

Anyone with access to a BBT able to check the CDS curve for these guys?

looking at the chart, I got a DAL call spread 3 months out betting on a Trading Range rebound to to top of the range, at least to the middle of the range. News, ignored.
