Poor choice!! The followings of both of these that you speak are dedicated to death! The thing that you're NEVER told is that their followings are way, way, way down. If we could only get the press/media to stop telling you that they are key players. They really aren't! Their followers are mobile, and they may know who to call to say that they want to speak, but their influence really is not that solid any more.

Many in the black community are finding it ok to say that they do not think you racist if you don't agree with Jesse/Al. We don't either!! That group that rejects Cosby? They're the ones who he's chastising and they don't like it. The rest of us are waiting on the programs to be cancelled so we can filter out those in that crowd who are worthy. There really is a throwaway pile!!

I don't think shutting up Sharpton is enough of a solution. problem stems many ethnical groups (illegal Mexicans, white trash....) and many countries.

As much as I hate abortion, I read an interesting theory in "freakonomics" about it helping a lot with lower crime rates. Basically, unloved unwanted children turn into criminals
It underscored a real correlation between the Adoption of Roe vs Wade and a generation later, lower crimes rates.

You're joking right? I can go to many inner city clinics and get free condoms now and that's not working. In Chicago, they give condoms away at many of the colleges. Something as simple as putting on a rubber is way too much to ask. The sad piece is you can make all that stuff available, you just can't make them use it!

I'm not. Look at it as a strategy of "containment". The poor folk are too stupid/ lazy to measure the risk of sexual activity in bringing an unwanted kid till the first "symptoms" of pregnancy. Ideally, they''d think before the consequences. I GAVE UP on them ever thinking about doing the right thing.....so let them "kill" themselves, by themselves.
We're not a socialist country right. we don't protect the weak. We don't stand in the way of Evolutionary "market" forces. Why should we do it in this case ?
Let evolution do its job. Either you man up and survive as a demographic or you gently fade away.

Nah, my statement about assimilation stands. Having a China town doesn't mean you're not assimilated, economic assimlation.

Listen, Obama, Powell, Cosby all know and said there is a Systemic problem. This ain't Global crossing crashing, this is the Credt Crisis. The demographic group, US Blacks, has serious problems. to deny it is to refuse to see reality.

I use the word "Black" for TWO different purposes:

1-- As a qualifier for the skin color, a race.
2-- As a qualifier for a specific US demographic unfortunately associated with some pretty destructive pattern of behavior

Same thing with "Whites." sometimes a skin color, sometimes as a moniker for middle class America values
Both overlap, but are not the same.
Obama is Black, by skin color. "White" by passed on values.


Joe the plumber is white by skin color, "Black" by behavior.
