To be fair, he does not deserve what he got. He is there, looks up at a foul ball coming right at him - I am 90% sure I would have noticed that Alou could have caught this ball and pushed everyone away from it.

IMO, the people around him are as much to blame for not yelling and telling him not to interfere, but even that is reaching for straws.

Does not bother me one bit. I would say the ball that the shortstop dropped was 100 times worse, but errors are a part of baseball.
