All it akes is a few days of purposeful learning to become expert at bagging the full offer of the market.

So far the new trading room has done two logs.

so far they have repeated the bar by bar process only fifty times.

so far they have never failed to find the proper EE by doing the look up on three sheets, sheet after sheet if necessary.

If you knew I lived in Greenwich and you knew I was part of the NY social culture, why would you be so dumb to mention a corporation owned by a Greenwich family?

Jack "IS" a big part of ET and welcome as much as anyone in a public forum. Many know he has surely helped many a trader over the years, others might not read posts word for word but they still come back.

I do not pay attention to this ratio or that ratio in trading. Lets put this out : If someone asked you to make $4,325 a day with no more than 4 items and a max of 8 cars in any 1 instrument (ES) what 4 would you use? In the other 3 you can not use more than 4 cars .

Yes, I change the parameters a bit. Later we will get the strat and tactics down pat........ :)

MORE CLUEs: the reason for only 35 ticks max in 2 and only 12 ticks in 2 is this...... Any decent trader should be able to remove 35 ticks each in 2 from the mkt and remove 12 ticks each in another 2. That is NOT a difficult task at all. What is difficult is to make approx. 100 ticks a day and be consistent in a SINGLE INSTRUMENT. We all can, should be able to make 100 ticks a day when the tasks are reduced to a lessor amount............ LESS IS MORE

I suppose my reply to all that would be, "Did you want a real plan to reach real-money goals in real life? Or are you interested in ego-based dicking around with some sort of limits and controls to make the already difficulty task, impossible?

austinp, you are correct, my numbers got mixed up so I changed them, sorry. Yes, this is a real plan and many will realize it can be dropped down to EVERYDAY plan for those that do not seek a mill.

The same plan with a mere 5 contracts a day can produce results on the 4 items that produce a fine result. In the end, the numbers are far less important than the strat, tactics. Well we all know that.

The intention of even thinking through this was to make it all as simple as possible and doable for anyone that wants to follow a SIMPLE set of hard and fast rules that DO NOT require intense screen time. Watching 4 toys can be easy if done correctly. I can NOT scalp, I KNOW that. I like to trade and watch a movie or whatever without being glued to a screen. The days of using the phone and getting skinned are long over, computers made the game far nicer/friendly for pikers like us.

I DO not trade this amount cars (19) at the moment, so I am not making a million now...........BUT will within due time, that is a goal. :cool:

PS: regarding scalping, it never was my cup of tea, I say I can not do it, that is true, the reason very well might be because I do not like to do it...:mad:
 
using appropriate statistics i can "prove" you can make 10million a year starting with 10k.. however no trader does it.. why??...

Because of the vig and the fact even a few losses can set you back big time.

Although, I disagree and think a few traders have done it. Dan Zanger and Tim Sykes are the public examples of getting close to this----
