A Trade

Sell 2 SPY Aug 29 200Cs for .69. Trying to build up the credit. Yeah this trade is hairbrained. Small size makes it more of an exercise and fun, not really. And practice posting live, which really sucks, BTW. Back to CL after this.
 
The first mistake I made in this trade was to trade countertrend. Often, with a strong trend the counter trade is exceedingly weak, often sideways. I was fortunate to get the 1990@14, but the have been fighting the uptrend ever since. Should have waited and gone with the trend using a put ratio, stoopid. KISS.

I suppose that an excuse is that I'm not used to the stock market. But there are no excuses, only the bottom line. Pull the trigger and you own it.
 
Sell 'em back .61 and looking for more, but have to go out this afternoon. Don't worry, we'll get these bastards...um, or take the loss.

I use dollar stops, with this trade it is 1000.
