that was a symbolic response more than anything and a deserved one.Al quaeda is now more popular than ever and increases as our presence does.The taliban has re emerged and controls large portions of the country again.The literacy rate is 10%.Its futile for foreigners to pretend they will change a culture that is 8000yrs old.
We can wipe out these countries many times over with our submarines alone.These ragtag groups cannot harm us in any way on our shores if we simply have competent airport security.
