The Jews have full claim to Israel. There is no such thing as "Palestine". That was a word that the Romans assigned to the area in order to further the dispersion of the Jews from the area. The solution is a one state solution not a two state solution.

Israel needs peace. The biggest issue there is that Arab leaders do not want peace. The top lines up their pockets from the conflict, and will never agree to stop it short of Israel agreeing to cease its existence.

Specific facts.....a state is asking you to pledge loyalty to a FOREIGN GOVERNMENT. It is fine if you support any country but not only can't the government compel your loyalty/opinion but they are asking you to pledge to a foreign government in order to work at the state level (would be wrong at federal level as well).

This is the stupidest thing as a former lawyer I have ever seen.

Now the real test is if anyone can truly post here without making this a lefty/righty/Trump/Obama thing but just look at how offensive this is from a U.S. history/constitution/ foundations perspective.

It's a felony if that individual had previously taken an oath to support and defend the US Constitution. Surreal. Serving a foreign power.

EVERY Federal employee is required to take the oath.
