A statistically representative climate change debate

Since on TV it is always 1 person for and another person against the claim, John Oliver decided to make the debate statistically representative, and I mean scientists not average people:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cjuGCJJUGsg

The debate part starts at 3:10 and yes, it is 96 scientists saying climate change is caused by humans and only 4 denying it. Of course you wouldn't know it if you just watch the talking heads on TV....

Here's the thing that infuriates the AGW zealots. In a debate, the advocate who makes the better case prevails. Their argument tends to consist of a lot of arm waving, name calling and reference to the "consensus" of scientists. The holes in their argument are very apparent to any fair-minded person, so of course they detest any real debate.

Oliver just made himself look like a moron. we had a whole thread on that fraudulent study...
its actually .3% of papers which support the idea that man made co2 may be causing global warming.

“0.3% climate consensus, not 97.1%”

PRESS RELEASE – September 3rd, 2013

A major peer-reviewed paper by four senior researchers has exposed grave errors in an earlier paper in a new and unknown journal that had claimed a 97.1% scientific consensus that Man had caused at least half the 0.7 Cº global warming since 1950.

A tweet in President Obama’s name had assumed that the earlier, flawed paper, by John Cook and others, showed 97% endorsement of the notion that climate change is dangerous:

“Ninety-seven percent of scientists agree: #climate change is real, man-made and dangerous.” [Emphasis added]

also note today... Olivers statements about his proof are apparently contra indicated by facts...

Glaciers in Himalayas are in a steady state...

....
The results of the present study indicate that most of the glaciers were in a steady state compared to the results of other studies carried out for the period prior to 2001. This period of monitoring almost corresponds to hiatus in global warming in the last decade. It may happen that an interval of one decade could be smaller than the response time of glaciers to be reflected in terms of any significant change with 23.5 m spatial resolution of data. This point requires further studies using high-resolution data for a longer interval of time.

2. Antarctic Sea Ice At Record Levels

Antarctic sea ice has expanded to record levels for April, increasing by more than 110,000sq km a day last month to nine million square kilometres.

In from the cold.

The National Snow and Ice Data Centre said the rapid expansion had continued into May and the seasonal cover was now bigger than the record “by a significant margin’’.
“This exceeds the past record for the satellite era by about 320,000sq km, which was set in April 2008,’’ the centre said.

We've got a phony president with fake credentials, the nfl and sportscenter wallowing in the homo stuff, and scientists who claim a theory is right even though the empirical evidence disagrees.

We're only one small step from jack booted thugs.

Oh, that's great. But it's 97 to three, that he properly does.
And Al Gore will grow magic jelly beans into a giant candy beanstalk that he'll climb to the sun so he can push it just far enough away to offset global warming if we all vote democrap and pay higher taxes.
