I'm a big fan of SpaceX and Musk's probably favourite author was also mine, I met Banks myself etc. My bias is to brush this aside.

Musk was however dealing with a hush-money situation going wrong well in advance of this.

There are a lot of opportunistic women out of make a fast buck these days. They do not care about destroying your good name. Men should have cameras all over the place they work, complete with audio. Anyone who enters the building has to accept that video recordings can be used against them if they commit any crime and charged criminally for it. They should be made to sign a declaration in writing that they accept those terms. Otherwise, they cannot enter the building. See how fast all these BS ends. Harvey Weinstein may be a vile human being according to a lot of women. However, a number of them put out and slept with him for movie roles then, sued him right after. That is why a number of the cases against him was tossed.

I'm not Amercian little guy* however I have a nagging feeling that Elon has possibly committed securities fraud, serious this time with the Twitter deal and this and that have some connection in timing.

And it's not her who wanted to tell the story. It's her "friend", this politically motivated activist who probably smelled money that was egging her on to "come forward" and basically doing all the talking.
 
Well so far there is no denial or clarification of the 250k payment she claims to have received.

If this never happened or was a one off judgement error it won't be much of an "Elongate" as he is asking it be called but the details of why she got the sum needs clearing up first.

Exactly. I want to give Elon Musk the benefit of the doubt because with the #metoo s***, we have seen crap from both sides, but that $250K + the NDA really put the doubt in the benefit of the doubt that I am willing to give to Elon. I mean if you've got nothing to hide, why give the money AND with the NDA?
