Suppressor!
"Silencer" is the term people more familiar with movies than firearms will use. There's really no such thing as a silencer and it does not work like the movies. Sure, you can achieve near silence with the right setup of suppressor and ammo, but....argh.

That's about par for a low to medium quality suppressor.
That's why I made the comment I did about the right combination of ammo, etc. Firing subsonic ammo through a suppressor will result with a click and that's about it. Using regular 175 grain 5.56 (for example) will just result in a nice "hiss", but still very audible (and in some cases, requiring ear protection).
