Maybe that landowner should have considered the rules before violating the Clean Water Act
With all of the drawback of EPA, could you suggest an alternative way of preventing us from fucking up the world around us?
Who is this we Kemosabe? It's not your land to sell/harvest/utilize. It's not even your time to use efficiently and I hate to think what your idea of an efficient use of time is.I'm not much of a tree hugger (I mean I like animals but I also like steak), but this is a good move. Ranching is terribly inefficient and time intensive so if we can have more land to sell/harvest/utilize and don't have to wait 3 years for the cow to go to the slaughterhouse I'm all for it. Not to mention the possibility of engineering away the red meat enzymes that lead to cancer and heart disease.
Sure beats grazing cattle on Mars.I've been to the burger tasting here, in the NYC. It's pretty darn close to the real thing, these companies have legs - once they reach some efficiency of production, I am pretty sure these products will be competitive with real meats.
It's certainly are my taxes that go into farm subsidies. I hate all forms of government hand overs - defense industry, farming subsidies, private jails or subsidized housing (defense tops my hate-list cause they use so many resources for very little benefit).Who is this we Kemosabe? I know you hate to hear this, but this is the future. Just like cars have replaced horses, it's inevitable that food production will be synthetic and agriculture will be a thing of the past. You can hate it, love it or invest in it.Sure beats grazing cattle on Mars.

Hey... It don't bother me a bit.I know you hate to hear this, but this is the future. Just like cars have replaced horses, it's inevitable that food production will be synthetic and agriculture will be a thing of the past. You can hate it, love it or invest in it.
