A review of Timmay's hedge fund book

Quote from BOSS_HOG:

The ironic thing is that everyone who hates Tim and continues to posts on these threads is raising his visibility and thus likely increasing his book sales. This of course puts more money in his pockets. It's in Tim's best interest to respond to every attack to keep the threads fresh and make more people curious to read his book....

Actually I win either way cuz if you guys stop attacking me, we'll have a reasonable conversation and I can show exactly how my experiences will entertain / educate and if you do keep attacking me then I'll defend myself with the truth and I still get the visibility. Checkmate

I think I'll just repost some of these quotes from time to time whenever my haters start spewing all their uninformed crap

And I think I will just repost this quote from time to time when you start spewing all your uninformed crap

Quote from Longhorns:

Audited Cilantro/Sykes "short biased hedge fund" performance:

2006 Return: -25.83%

2007 YTDJan-Jul: -10.26%

Jan2006-Jul2007: -36.06%

Ahhh, but can't you see that your comparing apples and oranges. I'm on here promoting my book and backing it up with figures from others who enjoyed the book and your trying to dissuade people from buying my book by using figures only relevant to my fund.

If I was trying to raise capital for my fund, you'd be doing a bang up job, but I'm not. Get me some figures from people who don't like my book (out of the 300 advance copies I sent out, there's a total of 3 out haters there, only 1 who has gone on the record publicly) vs. 200+ who love my book. The facts don't support your thesis.

I dont see how all the negative things said on here about you can help....but if it does so be it. I post on here for entertainment and have a blast writing some of my nonsense. I just call em like I see em. The other guy was right....if it wasnt for me,Longhorns,Reaver, and a few others these threads would be ghost towns. Trust me Tim..if we all decided to stop posting on here the conversations would be far from interesting....would be a snoozefest in here. They would have to create a new section called "gay chat" and move your threads there, because the only one posting in here would be marketsurfer sucking you off.

Like I said, everyone knows it is a professional courtesy to write rave reviews for each other.

Ask your sweetheart Dave Goodboy/Marketsurfer about it...He even posted it on ET in another thread once....I could probably dig it up.

Every trading book written in the past 10 years has rave reviews all over the place.

it's almost as if each new book is a bullshit contest.

You're winning so far.

I always told people to slam away. Every time they did it brought me to the top of the list, put my URL up there and got me trial members. I'm pretty sure I got 3 or 4 times MORE trial members because of all of the detractors I had on ET than I could have possibly gotten had they just ignored me.

Really I must send my congrats out to Tim. Not since I Had 9 threads going at once on the top of the board about Does Brandon Suck, Is Brandon a theif, Random Rants etc, has anyone done so great a job of taking over ET. He musta studied and improved upon my ET marketing methods. That said I think he might be a little bit more aggressive than I'd have dare been and it could eventually, as ive said, work against him.

Lol, it does sound kinda fun. I wouldnt mind giving it a read, to answer the "why", and "how" of this scenario.

Are those Ginsui Knives you get free with the book??
I would be willing to buy your book if I can get the set that cuts thru the pop can as seen on T.V.

Thank You.

Haha every trading book has 150+ positive blurbs before their release? Do all these alleged books have reviews saying they are the modern-day 'Reminiscences of a Stock Operator & ' How I Made $2 Million in the Stock Market'. If so, please be so kind as to point these books out because I have never seen them and I'm tempted to call you out on your BS; oh wait, I just did
