A Retail's Day Trading Experiment

Thanks. Those were the most delicious Big Mac I ever had.

It is hard work, no easy street.

Big Mac is the answer! Have you listened to any Confessions of a Market Maker podcasts? Battista is a good interview.

US man eats McDonald’s three times a day for 100 days – and the weight falls off
Kevin Maginnis, 57, from Nashville says he ate half-portions of McDonald’s thrice daily and lost about 60lbs (26kg) in

Soon he will suffer from an autoimmune problem.

Not wise to test how our bodies can take
tons of man-made transfat/chemicals/additives/preservatives.

Very few people die from eating poisonous food like puffer fish, or poisonous mushrooms.

Millions of people suffer from eating tons of man-made transfat/chemicals/additives/preservatives.

In AUS we love Double Big Mac and Chicken Big Mac.

Are you trading directionally with Index or Stocks?
I trade stocks, both long and short, flat at the end of the day. In fact since about a month into my paper trade, I picked one and stay with that one exclusively since August.

There is a reason, that particular stock has a good rhythm compared to index. I think it is because it is a smaller company (but not small cap), so fewer MM and less institutional.

I tried index, didn't work that well for me. Don't know why.

I traded live, small size for 12 consecutive weeks, it was profitable all 12 weeks. Averaged 0.4% profit a day, 4 out of every 5 days were positive and only twice had two consecutive losing days.

I made a decision a couple of weeks ago to stop and go back to paper trades. Why? Because I couldn't quantify my edge. Going back to paper to try quantify the system makes more sense to me.

No more free "Chicken Sandwich" or "BigMac" every day. :(
