A reminder that the global warming hoax predicted no ice at the north pole BY 2013.

"The paper is owned by the Scott Trust, which was founded in 1936 “to secure the financial and editorial independence of the Guardian in perpetuity.” Although it became a limited company in 2008 all shares are still held by the trustees, and so it doesn’t have the same shareholder obligations that most newspapers have. But last year chief executive of Guardian Media Group Andrew Miller warned that that the Scott Trust’s funds would last only another “three to five years.”"

I stand corrected. I thought Murdoch owned it.

But while I was researching the Guardian I found this interesting article.

"Yet a new study conducted by Media Matters for America shows that in stories about the 2013 IPCC report, rather than accurately reflect this expert consensus, certain media outlets have created a false perception of discord amongst climate scientists.

Specifically, politically conservative news outlets like Rupert Murdoch's Fox News and the Wall Street Journal were responsible for the lion's share of the false balance, disproportionately representing climate contrarians in their stories about the IPCC report."

Quote from Max E. Pad:

Meanwhile it snowed in cairo for the first time in 100 tears today.....

In Cairo, where local news reports said the last recorded snowfall was more than 100 years ago, children in outlying districts capered in white-covered streets, and adults marveled at the sight, tweeting pictures of snow-dusted parks and squares. In other parts of the city, rain and hail rocketed down.

Yes it is.

The 2003 European heat wave was the hottest summer on record in Europe since at least 1540.[1] France was hit especially hard. The heat wave led to health crises in several countries and combined with drought to create a crop shortfall in parts of Southern Europe. Peer reviewed analysis places the European death toll at 70,000.[2]

Next thing you know, they'll be planting crops in the Fertile Crescent and Mesopotamia.

They won't have to rely on oil any more....

Of course, unless Monsanto annexes the lands as their own private kingdom, there will be more Muslims, and that alone will scare all the zealots in this forum...

Troll-bait? Yes it is! Hahahahaha

1) That was 10 years ago dumb ass.

Ozone hole stabilizing but not yet shrinking
By Tony Barboza
15 Dec 2013

"The hole in the ozone layer is stabilizing but will take until about 2070 to fully recover, according to new research by NASA scientists.

"The assessment comes more than two decades after the Montreal Protocol, the international treaty that banned chlorofluorocarbons and other compounds that deplete the ozone layer, which shields the planet from harmful ultraviolet rays.

"Levels of chlorine in the atmosphere are falling as a result of the treaty, but have not yet dropped below the threshold necessary to have a shrinking effect on the ozone hole that forms each year over Antarctica, according to scientists at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center. They presented their findings last week at the annual meeting of the American Geophysical Union in San Francisco.

"That doesn't mean the ozone hole is getting worse. But scientists who track its uneven progress say it is still too soon to declare a recovery. "

Yep. Scientists saw the problem, communicated it to the world's governments and action was taken that will, given time, solve the problem.

One difference is that it didn't hurt the bottom line of huge corporations. In fact Dupont profited as they formulated and produced new refrigerants.

a few tiny ice cubes can still be found at the north pole, but it's for the public's own good if they believe in global warming.

if you are at a cocktail party and someone has the gall to observe that ice remains at the north pole, screw up your face, look disgusted, and shame them by calling them an uncaring person. people feel obliged to answer the "uncaring" thing - try it, it works.

secondly, let's go to the schools and start teaching the dangers of desertification in our arctic wildlife areas.

At this rate, in twenty years the ice will be gone for four or five months a year.
