A reminder that the global warming hoax predicted no ice at the north pole BY 2013.

Over 2000 cold and snow records set in the USA this past week
Posted on December 13, 2013 by Anthony Watts
Compare to 98 high temperature records, and 141 high minimum temperature records

Quite an imbalance in weather records this week. Even the AGU fall meeting in San Francisco where the best and brightest global warming scientists were meeting was surrounded by record (such as 25F in San Jose Dec 9th) and near record setting low temperatures, though the irony was lost on many of them.

this is NOT about politics.

you should be eating tofu, outlawing motor vehicles, and raising taxes.

if you do not do as i say, there will be no ice at the north pole, and many other events which i have yet to warn you about!

you have only weeks left to do as i command, or the no-ice thing will happen.

AAGHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So what? One or two guys thought it would be gone according to a computer. The majority of relevant scientists did not and thought it would near 2100. This guy's model was wrong so now GW is a hoax? You idiots are so incredibly stupid.

"Professor Wieslaw Maslowski of the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, California. Using US navy supercomputers, his team produced a forecast which indicated that by 2013 there will be no ice in the Arctic "

From another, non-Guardian, source

"If current melting trends continue, the Arctic region will see completely ice-free summers in the future, he said.

"At this point, we're looking at 'when' as opposed to 'if,'" Meier said. "There's still a lot of uncertainty, because there's a lot of variation year to year, but it's definitely coming, and coming sooner than we previously expected."

Ten years ago, researchers predicted the Arctic could experience ice-free summers by the end of the century. "Now, it's really looking pretty likely that it could come mid-century at the latest, and perhaps even within the next couple of decades," Meier said."

The whole science communities' metrics are WAY off. They torture data to make it fit their world view and that means their theories can be ANYTHING and frequently are. It's just part of modern life...

Yes OK. You are an idiot.

You know what else is funny? These articles are always in the Guardian.

Can anyone tell me who owns the Guardian?

"The paper is owned by the Scott Trust, which was founded in 1936 “to secure the financial and editorial independence of the Guardian in perpetuity.” Although it became a limited company in 2008 all shares are still held by the trustees, and so it doesn’t have the same shareholder obligations that most newspapers have. But last year chief executive of Guardian Media Group Andrew Miller warned that that the Scott Trust’s funds would last only another “three to five years.”"
