a rare marketsurfer stock pick

As a matter of fact, after the announcement I called the company and asked what happened... and as it turns out, they pinpointed a store whose revenues had suffred such a drop that it caused the problems. They made it sound to me like they were on their way to some very nice earnings until this one store tanked.

Now, they wouldn't tell me which store it was.... but I know.

BBi has a dying business model. I think until they focus on renting video game products, they wont see much growth. Only time I ever go to BBI is to rent a new game and they are always out of them. Here and there I pick up a DVD that they are selling cheap. But actually renting? What for?

Only on ET could someone say "nailed it !" when it took 6 weeks for a stock to finally drop 2 bucks off an earnings number. What did NFLX do the last 6 weeks? 25+ points or something.

BBI awful strong today in contrast to spoos.

BBI's business model has morphed somewhat the last year, they did deals with atomfilms.com, tivo, mgm, aol, etc to try and compensate for the inevitable.

That being said, BBI probably wishes they had done some type of buyout with NFLX when it was trading around 5 bucks. :eek:

I wish netflix had a better website, for a billion dolllar company it looks like they designed that thing with MS Frontpage or something. The interface to find movies is horrible IMO, ofcourse having said that, I still use it. :p

i was very clear that this was ( is) a long term play. it will be down dramatically ---- paitence is key here.
