A quick question

Just a quick question.

I have been receiving lots of emails lately from individuals who are interested in shorting stocks under $5

unfortunately, I have never done so myself, so I know nothing about that (I didn't think it was possible, because stocks under $5.00 aren't normally marginable)

So in short, if anyone of you knows of a retail broker that will allow this, can you please email me. I'd like to be able to give a better answer than "I don't know of anyone" to those who ask.

IB's list of shortable stocks includes many under 5.00, even WCOM when it was trading at 1.25 but I've never tried it. I always thought, too, it had to be marginable.
