A quick look at the US indexes

I see that no one is interested in S&P 400 MidCap emini in GLOBEX (enough liquidity to trade about 5 cars easy. About 10 should be okay too)

Day range of today + last 3 days (today, yesterday, day before yesterday, ...). This is based on IB's data - so might be off by a tick or so.
Code:
ESM10 $550 $813 $1,288 $475
NQM10 $355 $615 $750 $400
EMDM10 $1,070 $1,470 $1,590 $750
TFM10 $890 $1,650 $1,530 $670
YMM10 $350 $645 $910 $375

Please reread the opening post in its entirety when you can. I think you will find your assumption may not apply. Please pay close attention to the percentages that I refer to.
I believe this is a moot argument since 1 tick move in ES accounts for nearly 10-ticks in YM and nearly 5-ticks in NQ. So the relative risk parameter is similar in my view, regardless of what you trade. Just my utterly worthless 2-cents.

Forgive me, but I think you're missing the point of my opening post. If you don't wish to read it, fine. But that limits the point of the discussion.

Personally, I find the price action to be too erratic for my own consideration, due to the instrument's relatively low volume.

Could you expand on this? thanks.

Up 3% in my FX account today trading action only.

no losing trades today...placed 9 so far
anyone else just trade price action??
FX, or indexes, or whatever?

Gabby, as you may recall, I find wisdom in analogies between trading and sex. If the old girl still wants to fuck you, and you still get it up for her, and off with her, any acadendemic second thoughts are derelevant.
