A question for those of you who own blogs and websites

Quote from Brandonf:

I just thought of this idea last night and I wanted to just get an idea of "Will this go over or not".

There are a lot of people out there who are very skilled at something, yet they make very little money with that skill.

Now in terms of trading this is not true, if your a skilled trader, your going to make money. However, a large number of you have blogs and websites as well as trade. Of those with websites a lot of people would like to make money off them, but 99% will fail.

I can nearly gaurantee you that the reason you fail is not because of the market information you are giving out, rather it is due to your marketING, or lack of skill there.

Over the years I've had great success, even becoming something of a stock market guru. I know how it's done.

Over the last couple of years I've kind of left the stock market guru scene, but I have continued to work behind the scenes with a number of "famous stock market guru's" (someday even surfer is going to hire me!).

People who run websites hire me, and pay a lot when they do, because they know I produce results (in fact just like when I managed money, I only charge for results).

In any event, over the last several months I've gotten a lot of PMs and emails from people on ET who want me to help them with their own websites. The truth is, I'd love to help you all because I think there has never ever been a better time to be in the financial education industry. That's not possible though.

So now here is my question, and if there is enough interest I'll probably put togehter a product (and advertise on ET so that TZ can unpack his panties from the wad they are in).

You don't have to answer in public, a PM is fine.

Here goes: Would you be interested in a product that teaches you how to take your stock market website or blog to the next level. You would have several case studies, both from myself and the people I have worked with, showing you how to build your stock market website business from 0 to whatever you want to build it too. Not only that I'd show you, step by step how to build your business. How to attract visitors to your site (online and offline methods that kick ass), and most important how to convert them to buyers. You will get specific scripts that have worked for me, but not only tactic, but strategy.

There is a lot of great information out there on marketing, but nothing geared towards a stock market marketer, which is ironically the most lucrative info product market out there.

If this is something that would be of interest to you please let me know. I'm actually very excited about the potential of the product, but I want to get some feedback before I get going.

Also please be aware that I don't sell anything cheaply. There would probably be mini lessons and such things available for under $250, but the main pruduct would likely be in the $1500 to $2000 range.

This is nothing compared to what you can do though. I have one client who only a few years ago was over a million dollars in debt. He now has a $1million per year stock market website in addition to his own trading. I myself started my website when I was 19 years old, running it for 7 years and only had one year where I made less than 6 figures. On the extreme end of things, moneyandmarkets.com makes over $80million per year, having done a promotion just last week that brought in over $15million.

I also don't want you to think you have to become a "famous" or pseduo famous in the industry. You will have to reveal who you are, people don't trust an avatar...however I have one site that is bringing in 20 to 40K per week with a guy I doubt any of you have ever heard of in the Forex Market.

Quote from Brandonf:

I've not sold anything to anyone on this website in years.
I wont in the future either, because aside from coming back to see that either posts his proof or apologizes for what he has said I will be my second to last post on ET.

I will say my "formal" good byes either later this evening or tomorrow.

I have made a lot of great friends here, more than I can count. During the period of time I was fighting cancer and fighting MRSA/Strep infections etc I had so many gifts, flowers etc coming to my room in the hospital from the people on this site that it overflowed and I was having to give them away to the nurses.

Overall ET is a great place, but it's also become a place I'm spending too much of my time and not getting too much back for. I think I have contributed here as much as I'm going too, and as I begin the new chapter of my life, it's probably time to turn over this page and move on.

Thank you all who have been friends to me. You can always reach me at my name brandon fredrickson at inbox

Let's see it. Post your stuff. Right here.

Funny how internet marketers like you have so much in common with reptiles

The lights come on and you hide under a rock.

You've spent many hours making claims of your expertise and your devotion to truthfullness.

Okay, let's see it.

Show us your sites.

IF ANY of the snake oil "Stock Gurus" could ACTUALLY trade Profitably on a consistent basis they would do so. But they can't. They are "Marketing" guys. Sheisters trying to sell you something. It's about selling suckers a product. And that product is the desire "The Ability to Trade". Suckers will pay big money to these self professed stock gurus hucking their product.
The real estate industry has had plenty of these marketing guys come and go every few years. They sell "No Money Down",,,,"Make Millions in Real Estate" courses. I saw this begin in the 70's and through the 80's. Then the stock market became available to any idiot through online trading in the 80's and the Internet Bull Market Bubble fueled the shift of greed from real estate marketing scams to stock trading/investing courses/books/advice scams.
What these Phony Traders marketing scam artists do is to try and pass themselves off as a stock guru instead of the real estate guru of the past. They learn a bit about Technical Analysis and then write a book on Technical Analysis and put together a course in Technical Analysis. Make up some charts, draw some lines and you have suckers lining up for mentoring and ready to shell out bucks for some stock trading course.

It's always the same scam, if tony oz (aka the gay wizard) could truly trade profitably, there would be no need for him to peddle crappy books and dvds.

The more you post, the more you dig yourself into a hole of complete idiocy.

You're talking here about legal standards of truth. Well buddy, I will challenge you...right here...to post the URLs of the sites you have marketed, so we can all see how truthful they are in presenting their products and services.

You are abusing this site (amazing that you are still permitted here) for the purposes of marketing your services.

Okay, show your stuff. Let's see everything you've done. Let's see what you are selling, and how you're selling it.

Let's see your portfolio, right here.

Or are you ashamed of it?

I spent 25 years in the advertising business as owner of a successful company that served national advertisers. The crap that you and your ilk peddle on the internet NEVER would have been approved for air, or for print, before the internet.

But there is no regulation of performance claims on the internet, and you just love that, don't you?

You say that you've been contacted by 100 people from this site asking about your services.

You see that as a source of pride.

I see it as a sad comment on the times.

I do almost all of my advertising and lead generation offline. I've never had a problem.

You may think that you know a lot about "people like me", but you've obviously not taken the time to learn anything about me.

There is plenty of regulation of performance claims on the internet. The FTC actually does a decent job. The SEC, CFTC etc are pretty much worthless though you are right.

In terms of the people I have and do mark for I've mentioned the one's I dont have non disclosure agreements with.

I could post a bunch of URLs, but then of course I'd be accused of spamming and advertising on ET, since the vast majority of the sites I work with are finance.

Having had 100 people contact me I did not say is a sourse of a pride. There are about 15 or so I'd be willing to work with. The rest struck me as desperate people who'd like to finally make money in the market after having wasted years researching worthless systems. Worthless can be sold, but it has no long term value..and I'm interested in building long term value.

As far as "abusing this site for purposes of marketing" my services, I've not made a single sale, nor am I looking for one here. In the future I may create a product about how to launch a financial products business/service..and that was the point of the original question on this thread.

I would happily testify on behalf of anyone you go after. People may PM me if Brandon threatens you.

Knock yourself out dumb ass. I really don't care about winning or losing a case, although I think I'd win. Win or lose, an attorney is not cheap.

Quote from TraderZones:

Or is your definition of "honesty" or "integrity" mean to continuously flaunt the ET terms of service while assailing other people for venting their feelings about your behavior???

You know TZ, 95% of the spammers you go after end up getting their posts taken down. You complain about me more than you do anyone else though, and yet there is no problem from the ownership.

How hard is it for you to figure out that Baron owns the site, and he's the one who decides who is and who is not violating the sacred documents..I've not had any issues.

In any case these will be among my last posts on ET. I do want to write one to say goodbye to friends and whatnot, but by tomorrow you can be cheerful to have run me off the site and forever have ended the terrible spam pollution I post here.

1) I have one.

2) Been there, done that and doing it.

You'd think that somebody who has had a near-death experience would spend their life not scaming other folks out of their money. But no!!! They revive him and shortly after he's onto the next money making sheme...
