Here's a clue folks ... the key to trading is Price Action everything else plays a secondary (volume) or tertiary (in the case of listenting to what a Guru has to say) role to your trading.

Funny you should mention integrity.
Mark Cook's got a history as a trader, sure ... and he decided to parlay that success into becoming a trading teacher or vendor.
Part of that requires you to own up to your mistakes when you're wrong, instead of blaming a Plunge Protection Team when the markets don't do what one of your indicators (which probably has a 50-60% success rate) says it will.

OK, this thread couldn't get any fucking dumber, so I'm going to do my best to kill it by soliciting such sustained and outrageous abuse that it gets Chit-Chatted like it so richly deserves.
A few months ago on commission from our beloved Dr. Emil Kraepelin I designed a thoroughly mediocre trend trading system. Why mediocre? Because he listed for me all his faults as a trader and paid me to design a system that would specifically thwart those faults. Mediocre trader, mediocre system. Just desserts.
Predictably, it performs half-assed in a trend, maybe one-sixth as good as SCT. On a narrow range day like today it is absolutely abysmal and takes back everything it made on trend days. But wait! If I had FADED it today, it would have made money! I think I am on to something here! The UnConventional Orthodoxy (pronounced "uck-oh")! More to follow. Have at it, assholes!
