So does the exit polling show many Republicans crossed over to vote for Beshear? Or was it primarily the Democrats and Independents. A majority of the Independents choosing the Democrat over the Republican is not only bad news for GOP in Kentucky but representative of upcoming failure nationwide in 2024. If good number of Republicans crossed over to vote for the Democrat -- the situation is even worse for the GOP.
The Republicans just plan to ignore the election result in Ohio and do whatever they please.

Republicans in the Ohio state legislature are threatening to strip state courts of their authority to review cases related to Issue 1, the ballot measure approved by voters on Tuesday that established a right to abortion in the state constitution.
A group of four state GOP lawmakers announced their plans in a press release Thursday, which also teased forthcoming legislative action in response to voters' approval of the reproductive rights initiative.
"Issue 1 doesn't repeal a single Ohio law, in fact, it doesn't even mention one," state Rep. Bill Dean said in a statement. "The amendment's language is dangerously vague and unconstrained, and can be weaponized to attack parental rights or defend rapists, pedophiles, and human traffickers."
The Ohio Republicans said state lawmakers "will consider removing jurisdiction from the judiciary over this ambiguous ballot initiative. The Ohio legislature alone will consider what, if any, modifications to make to existing laws based on public hearings and input from legal experts on both sides."
Republicans hold wide majorities in both chambers of the Ohio General Assembly. The state's governor is a Republican, and the seven-seat Ohio Supreme Court has a 4-3 Republican majority.
Ohio state Rep. Jennifer Gross also claimed that the campaign in favor of Issue 1 was funded in part by foreign donations, saying, "this is foreign election interference, and it will not stand."
The GOP lawmakers did not provide details on the legislation they plan to introduce.

He officially filed a statement of interest to run for Arizona’s 8th Congressional District in Congress, according to News 12.
“We shall have no real hope to survive the enemies arrayed against us until we hang the traitors lurking among us,” he wrote in a Nov. 19, 2020 Facebook post.
As a felony convict, Chansley can run but not vote in the election.

Harris County’s 2022 election results were upheld by a judge Thursday night, who also threw out all but one remaining lawsuit from Republican candidates against the county, saying in his ruling that there were not enough disputed votes to merit a new election.
Initially, 22 losing Republican candidates filed lawsuits contesting their elections. Two candidates previously dropped their suits and Peeples then dismissed the remaining 15 suits on Tuesday.
Harris County Attorney Christian D. Menefee said he was “glad the judge confirmed what we’ve all known for a year now.”
“These Republican candidates lost the 2022 election,” Menefee said in a statement. “We at the county have moved on. Voters have moved on. I hope the Harris County Republican Party will move on, too.”
