A planet with no money

Quote from 700express:

Who decides how much air I can breathe? That's probably the worse example I've ever heard. Air is in hyperabundance, and even then, we require government agencies to make sure it stays clean enough to not give us cancer.

Air is also naturally occuring in every outdoor spot on earth. Is oil? Or uranium? How about nickel? Corn? Can I just "inhale" corn? Or beef? That's everywhere, right?

it will depend on the size of your nose.

In this fantasy world. I could be lady gaga if I wanted to. ;o) forget about work, I'd be a rock star and It would be considered trying to do something productive and ya'll would have to clothes me, feed me and litsen to me sing and dance.... :p

Quote from 700express:

How would I get food or a home? Would the community provide it for me? Who decides who gets how much? Would we be stuck in the stone ages, or would some be technicians and others farmers? Especially then, then who would decide who gets what?
you become amish

Music is good and there is nothing wrong with it. You could be "Lady Gaga" - "Jay Leno"- "Oprah Winfrey" - "Warren Buffet"- " Tiger Woods" - " David Letterman" - " John Paulson"- but without being a billionaire or millionaire. It's very easy to digest this.

For instance, I personally watch Rhianna's music videos and love it, so in a moneyless society, she would continue to do her music career and at the same time doing anything she can for her community.

And again, that fantasy world already exists in our society but its existence is not being seen and felt in a 'pitch dark world' caused by the existence of money. Someone needs to switch the light on, and then you could see what better lives we could have had; because we never realized how money had held us in the dark for centuries.

A money-less society is possible if there are 25 million or 50 million people on planet Earth. A money-less society is not possible with 7 billion people on planet Earth. To provide food and other resources to 7 billion people, you need money system.

No, your argument is based on fallacious reasoning. You were right, however, if 7 B people sat on their butts, expecting 50 m other people to feed, clothe and provide shelter for them. This planet is replete with all the various natural resources and we have developed the necessary technologies in order to use these resources to our benefit. As long as Sun is shining and Earth is orbiting it, this human race will continue to live. We have developed solar panels, wind turbines, nuclear power plants...you name it.

I did two internships as a mechanical engineering student in a nuclear power plant in Canada and clearly realized how cheap nuclear energy is. Even if we scrap all the solar farms, hydroelectric facilities, coal-fired plants, etc, and instead build new nuclear power plants, they alone could easily generate enough power to supply the whole world. Why mine gold and keep in vaults, but not mine Uranium and use it as free energy?

Quote from Sanaz3:

Trust me, I am no delusional or spiritual type person who is unable to distinguish reality from fantasy. I know what I am talking about and like many others who have had this vision, I am confident it will revolutionize the way we live and work forever.

Everything you said after "Trust me" leads one to the opposite conclusion, and to question every point you make about yourself.

Quote from Sanaz3:

What he/she meant was that these are the jobs/professions that will be eliminated once we have a moneyless society. We are not talking about the past, but the future.

Yes. If one lives in a dream world. People don't fight mainly because of money. They fight over causes, national/cultural identity, being cutoff from resources, religion and many other things. Eliminating these and other "professions" is true if you ignore 5,000 years of human history.

Seriously, stop sniffing glue before posting.

Oh really? I should have edited that out if that caused the problem.:(
