I took the Patriots, so I like the outcome.....BUT...

...That's the Whole point of the Coin toss/sudden death tie break -- it's supposed to be fair, but kind of not fair at the same time (if you're the loser)

But I Agree with you...instead of a Sudden Death first touchdown tiebreaker...they should just extend the game another 5 or 10 minutes...so it's really fair for both teams now to score.

But I don't think it would have made the difference anyways...the Patriots started to pickup some serious steam in the second half, while the Falcons started to falter.
That would just be delaying the inevitable.

If you think of OT as an extension of a game, each team should get at least one possession.

just a note... I would like to see a time series of photographs on that last touchdown. The video made it look like the ball was over the line before he knee was down but it was not fully clear to me.
