A noose was found in Bubba Wallace's garage stall, NASCAR says

I do have the chuckle that we have arrived at the point where the Confederate flag is being removed from the ultimate red-neck sport.

If anyone had asked me 10 years ago if we would have ever seen this in my lifetime I would have told you "No".

At the end of the day, the whole thing is pretty silly.

I mean, if you want to fly your confederate flag at home by all means, have at it.

Nascar is a business first, with sponsors, and so if they say no flag then you
gotta just get over it.

BUT, that also means if the nfl says no kneeling, then get over it!

We see how this works both ways, but not really.

Blacks have their thing, rednecks have their thing and both should
respect the business owner/leadership rules and policies as long as
it doesn't infringe on their civil rights. pretty simple.

Isn't ironic how both are disrespecting the american flag?

The NFL never said no kneeling at first... 2 years later they said if you did not want to stand you could stay in the locker room.

2016:
It has been 12 hours since the story dropped that Colin Kaepernick did not stand during the National Anthem. The NFL has now issued a statement on the matter, keeping things pretty simple.

"Players are encouraged but not required to stand during the playing of the National Anthem."

Another point about the noose finding..

Dont these garages have all kinds of cameras since they house millions of dollars
of equipment?

You would think this would be an open and shut case.

Exactly, because the PLAYERS where bitching about it.

You get my point?

So I guess the rednecks have every right to fight the policy then, since their nfl protest
brothers set the precedence.

Defy leadership if you THINK you are being wronged.

Even though your rights are not being violated in any way shape or form.

Point is there is no rule against kneeling

Point is there is no rule against kneeling

The point is, it was voted on and ratified.

Instead of adhering to the rules, it was challenged.

Like I said, if you THINK you are being wronged, screw the organization and
fight the good fight.

The point is the NFL is nothing without its players.

Meanwhile racist fans mean nothing to NASCAR - and especially to the bill paying sponsors.
