A New Trader Documentary

That sucks! Seemed like a good thing they had going on there. Why do they say "Episodes" then. It should be a 2 part documentary. Unless there was going to be an ongoing show that got clipped by the network.

Thanks

Anyone interested in trading here -or just sniping at each other? No other business has so much BS. The big money makers are bent as a nine bob note and without insider trading none of the City spivs would have a job. We have a tough time but it's possible to make good profits-happy to meet/connect with other UK traders. Investment is the word we use for a trade gone wrong.

Just looked up Charlie Burton the EZtrader guy today. I see he has a video response to a frustrated trader who felt he was underperforming all the guys on the internet who claim to make hundreds of pips a week with no losing weeks.

At least he gives good advice to people, that no one is making numbers like that, it's just that people on the internet like to brag about good trades and conveniently forget to mention bad trades. Sound familiar to ET gurus who claim to never lose?? :D

It’s just not the case, and if it were I would know about it because I would hear about it from my relationships with market makers and brokers. They’d be saying we’ve got loads of clients who are all banging out hundreds and hundreds of pips every week. It doesn’t happen, you have to trust us on this.

LOL!:p

I want to be a vendor. Seems like money for old rope. And far easier than trading!

Are there any 'how to become a trading vendor' type courses out there?

No licence required. Nothing at all required in fact!

A few years ago, a known scammer who goes by the name Davie Robertson (among lots of other names) posted on trade2win basically bragging about how much money he was making by selling his courses/books/chatrooms/access to his private blogs etc etc.
He'd charge thousands of people and when he eventually blew up (Well, it was actually his followers blew up as I doubt he was actually taking his calls!) he'd just change his 'alias' and open up loads of new sites/chatooms with new 'courses' and start all over again!

He posted screenshots showing tens and tens of thousands of pounds profit going into his amazon and paypal account from customers buying his courses/memberships etc. It seems like easy money.

The general consensus on trade2win after seeing this (I believe the thread in question has been removed) was ''If I fail to make consistent profits in trading by the end of the year and am still losing, I'm gonna get into the coaching/teaching side of the trading world instead''

It's definitely where the easy money is!
Elitetrader should have a new section for people trying to get into the vending business selling coaching/courses/books/seminars etc!

Aparently not-I make good profits and cannot give away my mentorship-just about everyone's approach to trading is destined to fail -aftwer 16 yeasr I make money but would make a lot more trading in concert with others, but there are no takers-dumb money wants to get robbed

I've tried a few times to setup groups, worked okay on stocks for swing trading, but not for intraday trading, got to get others willing to trade the same setup to network sadly, no chance.

Just to stay focused more than anything else, send message ??? Long soon maybe, rather than tune out then 6hours has passed and barely looked at the charts.
