I think it's safe to say that whatever MLK stood for, peacefully fought for, and ultimately died for is long gone. I lived through those times in the 60's as a teenager, and can tell you with absolute certainty that those that fought for their civil rights during that period would hang their heads in shame at what has become of the black community. Decades of progress have been washed away, on purpose, by the radical left. They have sold out an entire race of people to keep racism ginned up just to keep pushing their political agenda.

I just came home from a musical event where blacks, whites, and hispanics were all having a good time together. No fights, no anger, just a good time. You know who was missing? The poverty pimps. Al and Jesse to name a few.
 
I dsagree. His words were golden, but his actions told blacks they had the right to violate the law. The massive street demonstrations he pioneered, and which federal courts forced southern states to endure, were not legitimate First Amendment activity. They were a form of mob rule, which blacks seem attracted to even today.

I would argue the curent violence and riots are the predictable fruit of the seeds King sowed.
