Born Again Christians I assume. Evangelicals (me). Bible thumpers in others. I'd pray with folks and would love for them to know the Lord. We can be uptight about some things. I know I might tell you lot's of things you find irritating, loathsome, even stupid... but impose our will on you?? Impose seems a bit strong. BUT... and this is a bigger BUT... I'll stop short of driving over you, stabbing you, shooting you, and blowing you up. I won't even try to turn this Nation into a theocracy. I certainly would never advocate for anything as backward as Sharia Law like most Muslims desire. Assimilation happens in stages just like becoming a profitable long term full time trader. Why do you think Ben Franklin did not want Germans? My guess is they probably did not speak English and their culture was a bit different. Where would America be now if it wasn't for German immigration? Then turn of the 20th Century there was trepidation about Italians and Irish....
PS Ben was US ambassador to France, some of his trepidation towards Germans might have been picked up while there...

I highly doubt you know what "most" Muslims desire. And recent US history contains numerous events where so called Christian believers of various denominations did in fact commit murder in the name of their Lord. You think you are being reasonable but in reality you are just playing up the dangers of associating with people you don't understand or relate to well.
Even if you do so respectfully, you can see on this thread that others completely fail to do so. There are numerous posters on here that are highly bigoted or even racist in their beliefs ( not that they would accept that label ).
I have seen a lot of muzzies around lately. I guess Osama the Dictator has let a lot of them into the US. I can't even understand what they are saying when they talk. They dress weird. They act suspicious. When they talk to each other they get real close to each other and talk softly. Makes me think they are planning to bomb the area.
