I am wondering if it would be possible, if one had the money and the risk tolerance of course, to open a million or more options contracts in indexes such as NDX, SPX, Russell 2000 etc.
These all have pretty solid liquidity, but of course it depends on the strike price of the option among other factors. Anybody able to contribute here?
Bearing in mind, that in recent years position limits on options for these indexes were removed completely. Whereas the usual cap for stock options is between 25,000 and 250,000 depending upon daily volume.
