Indeed, he was. He lived something you never could.
Now, his sampling is waaaaay beyond what is allowed in the music industry, and yet Bruce Hornsby never pushed that.
My guess would be, that Hornsby and 2pac same the same song, to different audiences. But that requires differential thinking, which has been determined is a weak spot for the hard right.![]()
Glad you got it C. Stay up, bruh.
Yeah 2pac lived a life of drugs, crime, ect... something I never will. So you are right! Oh, and btw... I was a musician for 20 years... so yeah... cool huh?
So you got me labeled "hard right". You like to label people?
You know what sucks... last fall my teenage son and I went to his first practice for baseball... his coach had called us earlier and told us where to meet him at. We get there and I see this black man in the middle of the parking lot waving to people. He has a baseball cap on. Wearing sweats like a coach would. We come up to him and ask him if he is the coach. He says yes. And I say I thought so. He says "Because you saw a black man right"? I instantlly knew he had something against white people. Of course I thought he was the coach! He was the only dude in the whole parking lot where we were supposed to meet. He had a baseball hat on. He had sweats on. And yep, I could tell he was a black man on the telephone when he called us up and left a message. So what? Why was that "my bad"? I don't get it.
I ended up being the assistant coach for him on the team. We became friends. So all ended up good. But I still wonder... Did I do something wrong? You tell me. I don't think I did. But he did. I guess it was his upbringing or whatever.. I don't know...
