A Message From Rowshan

Quote from Mr. Rowshan:

$100K says i'm more of a real trader than you'll ever be. Let's compare audited year end summaries, shall we?

Must suck to be so obsessed with me. If I'm ever as obsessed as you are with me with an anonymous character on the internet, please shoot me.

LOL! You mean fresh off your fake paper-trade victory in the markets today, you now want to bet $100K on real trades? Geezus, this is priceless.

Look son, I don't gamble $100K on anything. I make trades based on the situation, and based on an analysis of risk versus reward. But I don't gamble.

Sorry you think I'm obsessed with you. 3 posts regarding the lack of reality to your market performance today, and you call that obsession? I'd call that a little emotional on your part.

Good luck on your paper trade for tomorrow.

Quote from Mr. Rowshan:

I do have something to sell you 9/11 liar guy. It's a book called "How to be honest and make friends". I strongly recommend it for you.

Well, to me and others, it sounds like you don't have what it takes to post calls and live with the results.

Sounds to us as though you need a little "smoke screen" to take the attention off your poor performance.

If anybody needs advice about honesty it would be you Rubberbird. How many times have you been banned?

I have a book to recommend you as well. "How not to be a hypocrite"....I hope you will take it to heart.

:D

As for Rowshan's call:

"Rowshan is calling for a higher stock market monday. If you're a "trader" this means you buy and go long monday's action. This is a trading call, and it belongs in the "trading" forum of elitetrader."

SPY opened at 132.09. Closed at 131.45. Net loss of 0.64 or 0.48% not including transactions costs and slippage.

Another possible call, although he didn't clarify:

"I only trade stocks. In most cases, I will profit on downward movements in stock prices. And it looks to me like the oil stocks will be down tomorrow, so by Rowshans extrapolation: oil stocks down, market up."

OIH opened at 214.67, closed at 224.21, up 9.54 or +4.44%.

So, out of one trade, and one trading opinion, his trade was a small loser, and his opinion was a huge loser.

Quote from steve46:

Ahhhh, just a minute champ

Why should anyone have to bet you 100k to find out if you actually trade?

Doesn't make any sense...Its a simple question that deserves as simple answer.

Asking people to "bet you" a significant amount of money makes it seem as though you're bluffing and trying to buy your way out of a bluff....

You forgot the followup, which is when someone accepts his bet, and he then backs out of it:

Now that you mention it, I remember you saying this once before

I am just tired of the bluster and the bullshit. Rubberbird seems to excel in both categories.

Thanks for reminding us all of this so we can put his "calls" in the proper perspective.

Good luck in the markets.

Steve

Quote from Mr. Rowshan:

The ** Rowshan Report ** is 1 for 1 !!

Rowshans report immediately generates ahead of the fact calls for next days trading, and the call is for another higher close tomorrow!

This call goes against post 4pm futures activity which gives an indication of a slightly soft open for tuesday.

Since you are judging your trade results based on the change from Friday's close, despite posting your call on Sunday and the market gapping higher on Monday, thus making your "winner" impossible if traded real-time, I thought I would make a similar call.

Everybody, listen up: the S&P tomorrow will close significantly BELOW it's January 1st 2008 level! I guarantee you this is a risk-free call, the market WILL be lower! I will come back tomorrow and let you know how well I did with my call.

Quote from Mr. Rowshan:

Don't be upset that I embarrassed you with crox. your short @ $48 was way too early, and I immediately said that to you. I told you you'd be stopped out and you were. You should commend me for that alone.

Coming from someone who covered (after doubling up on the loser) his own CROX short at a loss within 2 weeks of the all-time high, since when the stock has fallen over $60 per share, I hardly think you are in a position to criticize marketsurfer for his call.
