Ivanovich, I think you're a great moderator. Maybe you are right. But answer me this: what is the difference between this thread and rennicks thread? if this thread is reflective of a journal, than certainly rennicks thread is as well. I don't see any difference. As a matter of fact, the 2 threads offer the exact same thing IMO. Please tell me if i'm wrong.

Again, excellent work as moderator, and I rarely say that.
 
Well, regardless of the differences (between Rennicks and Rowshan's threads), shouldn't a thread in this forum contain actual trades??

The difference between this thread and how Rennick's had been going before today's flame fest is that, apart from his calls, there are many actually discussing particular stocks and their trades, trading styles and ideas throughout the thread. On this one, you're making calls, keeping score for yourself and generally being attacked (not your fault). This is more your calls and you tracking them.

Ivanovich, i'm going to respectfully disagree with your statement. In rennicks thread, i don't see any "discussing particular stocks". Can you show me where specific stocks are mentioned?

The ONLY time i've seen specific stocks discussed in weither thread is when I called for ALL commodity type stocks of $80 and more to get crushed on the next trading day. This call was made BEFORE the fact, and it was the most specific call EITHER thread has made. Please show me a single post by rennick that was more specific than this great call.

Also, at least i'm giving an honest "track" of my performance here. Rennick is not. There is no scorecard there. Lastly, I have not complained (as renniick has) about the title of my thread, nor have I called on you (rennick has) and pushed the complain button. You have to ask yourself this question: why must rennick have the thread titled a specific way, and why is he complaining and then denying it?

In sum, he has stolen another services market calls, and they are quite vague ie "market is going up" and "market is going down". I am doing the same. There is no difference. Of course, if you want to show me i'm wrong by pointing out any and all specific tickers rennick has mentioned, you'll see i'll be the first to apologize.

Again, excellent work. You and Inandlong are the only 2 moderators i've ever respected on ET.
 
rowshan maybe you need a gimick like rennick...... hes got a crystal ball.... you need something like that.

You can disagree - I'm not offended, and it is certainly your right. But if you run through the 50 or so pages of his thread, you'll see specific calls, contract sizes, positions, discussions on news, links, etc.

On your thread, you've been making general calls (up, down, flat) and only the user "atticus" really has placed exact trades, sizes, etc. He quit doing it awhile ago.

Again, nothing wrong with your thread. It just reads more like a journal of the person who created it.

I appreciate your response, thuogh you still haven't given a link to a single time rennick gave a specific ticker or even a specific call on an industry.

2nd post on the page made on 6/24. On 6/25, all commodity type stocks ie oils, coals, fertilizers, metals were crushed, thuogh they all are in a serious bull run. it was a great call. Please don't minimize it. I'd like to see anyone on ET make a call going against these stocks as I have.

Yes, i'm horrible at calling the market to go higher. I'm just plain bad. Fortunately for me, i'm an expert at making money on it going lower, and I have proven that over and over on ET throughout the years.

Is your only function on this earth to look at a tape, react to it and attempt to generate cash? Thats sad. Why not learn the actual reasons why its moving up? Sometimes its nice to study things and know the reasons. Educate yourself.

I would never ask you to waste your time like that. Please read my above post. If you can show me a single (one) instance of RENNICK predicting an industry or a specific stock, please post the link. I'm asking for 1 link that's all.

Again, I'm not taking anything away from your skill. Just saying that your thread reads more like a journal than an interactive trading discussion.

You're misunderstanding me. It doesn't have to be RENNICK that makes a specific call. The thread itself just has to have specific trading discussions.
