Quote from Dr. Zhivodka:
I'm curious to know how you felt about that in pre-planning and execution considering you've said that you've had more trouble with drunks than with pot smokers?
True, and to be quite honest I had no trouble with these guys either. But when you are on a drug task force with a main objective of seizing drugs and arresting those in possession, I had to do what was expected of me. Plus this little business was being run in a neighborhood with no less than 20 children who walk within 25 feet of that thing every day to get on the bus...would you want that in your neighborhood? Not me.
I didn't say I NEVER arrested someone for pot. I only mentioned that I had trouble, fought and arrested more drunks than stoners. I was referring to their demeanor and the fact that pot is not something that will typically lead to other crimes. Alcohol by contrast is a contributing factor in most DUI's, bar fights, domestic violence, etc. Marijuana is still illegal and I am still charged with enforcing it.
Sorry I almost forgot to answer your question...I felt fine
Most of our focus though was on clandestine meth labs, this case was just from a tip we got from a meth head trying to stay out of jail.
