A Little Covid Update...

My wife works at U. of Colorado Hospital. She relates the following...

1. UC Hospital has been taking in ICU Covid cases from other states who don't have enough ICU beds.

2. UC Hospital has suspended elective surgeries where the patient would be required to stay overnight. As for now, still doing "day surgeries" where patients go home the same day.

3. Other hospitals she has learned have suspended all elective surgeries... don't know how long the suspension will remain in effect.

The blame for all of this is apparently the Delta variant... known to be more contagious than earlier variants, but not yet known if more/less virulent.

Thanks to the non vaxxers.
I needed a small operation last year. It was postponed three times, so operated 1 year after the initial date. No problem for me as it was a more cosmetic thing.
They switched full blocs to help covid patients and all medical personnel included doctors had to work for Covid patients.
Only real life saving operations were still allowed. Cancer therapies were cancelled too...
 
Kind of odd when somebody like Scatty (the Vietnam War biologist who was stationed only at Japanese and Korean bases) tries to say something he thinks he has an inside track on.

Well covid deniers, even Scataphagos is saying its all real now. How's about them apples?

Ironically the story of filled up ICU beds and hospitals getting full and delta variant requiring more caution from maskless non socially distanced fucktards has been on the nightly news..... every FUCKING NIGHT....
